Financial Assistance

“If a free society cannot help the many who are poor, it cannot save the few who are rich."
John F Kennedy
As funds are available, CCHASM may assist area residents facing temporary financial hardship.
Our screening process is comprehensive, aiding in the discernment of legitimate emergency needs and core issues as opposed to chronic ongoing conditions. While we understand the importance of ongoing needs, it is not part of our mission to assist with these.
CCHASM might assist with utility bills as they are presented and as funds are available. We request documentation of the emergency and the client's income. Funds will be provided directly to the vendor, such as the utility company.
If funds are not available for financial assistance at the time of the request, CCHASM may offer extra food, which will ease budget restraints and allow the client to redirect those funds toward the emergency need.
