Reverend Charles Sumpter is retired from the United States Army with 28 years of active federal service. He holds a bachelor’s degree in History from Norfolk State University, a master’s degree in Business from Central Michigan University, a Master’s equivalent from the U.S. Army War College, and a Master of Divinity from the Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University.

Tamia is a Hopewell native with more than six years of customer service. She has more than five years of front-line leadership expertise including coordination of private sector staff training, customer service protocols, operations, and compliance with customer service standards.  She supports clients and alliance partners.

Tamia is a graduate of Hopewell High School and completed college coursework from Old Dominion University and Richard Bland College. She enjoys free time with her dogs and family. 

Shelly is a Chester native and a retired 32-year public school educator who taught middle and high school Spanish. She supports clients and community partners.

 

Shelly is a graduate of L.C. Bird High School and holds a bachelor's degree in Spanish education from Virginia Tech. She is also a certified community interpreter (Spanish) and holds certification with the American Council of Teaching a Foreign Language. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family and cats, walking, and traveling.

Kim Brittingham has been a teacher over the last 23 years, focusing on high school social studies. Most recently, she served as Department Head within the New Kent County school system. She is also a graduate of Randolph-Macon College and the College of William and Mary.

Jayahna Jenkins, a Richmond native, is a senior at Virginia State University majoring in Business Management. She enjoys basketball and poetry and is a member of the Virginia State University Student Advisory Board. She joined CCHASM in June 2023.
